It's a beautiful sunny afternoon. It is 3.00pm and I've just returned home from work to find my line full of washing stinking of smoke. Just wanted to say thank you to the people in Walkley Wood who are at this momoent sending clouds of smoke billowing over us.

Yes always the same people who have to light up fires on a nice warm sunny day wish we could sue people like that or charge them dry cleaning bills when our money spent washing is out drying.

People with bonfires please read do you realise how much its costs to run a washing machine or a tumble dryer.

Most people hang out there washing on a nice day to save having to use a tumble dryer.

Show respect and think of the enviroment and people around you not a lot to ask now is it

Bonfires are things of joy, remind me of childhood and reduces he number of people racing to Hoarsley with bouncy trailers full of clippings... Actually the tip run has been great for us as it's usual for tools to be left on top of their leafy rubbish which falls off at the first real bend/bump. We have a fine collection of secateurs, bowsaws, loppers and 1 top handled Stihl chainsaw.
