I see the new houses near the top of Springhill (by Star Hill?) now have an advertising board outside showing the prices starting at £395,000. No wonder they have flags flying!

Just wait until there isn't enough room for all the cars - these are 4/5 bedroom houses with a single garage + possibly drive space for one other car, which judging from the driveways of most large houses with multiple bedrooms isn't going to be anything like enough!!

Sounds like they will have more space than some of the houses built recently.

One good thing is, it will be far tooo dangerous for them to park on the road outside there!

That's what you think. There's no yellow lines there and I've seen people parked there before now - including some of the builders working on the houses!

Is that the plot off Star Hill where there are 3 new houses ? If so, they started building there 2-3 years ago now. 2 of the houses are for sale with Parkers at 575K and 670K. Actually, they have been for sale for quite a while ....

I hear the developer of the three houses by Poo Lane has done this sort of thing before; building hupmarket houses and then sitting on then for years until they're sold, which doesn't bode well for the poor people who live nearby. They'd make great luxury squats.

They're very well built but in my opinion don't have future residents in mind: can't see that any of them has a good view down the valley; their gardens look out onto retaining walls and are miniscule, and passers by can get great views into bedrooms and the kitchen of one of the houses from Poo Lane.

Poo Lane?? ha haaa haaa...I wouldn't want to live near a place called that! Covered in dog poo from the sounds. Must have some right dirty lazy dog owners living nearby if so. I always wonder why, if they don't mind leaving their dog poo around, they don't let the dogs just do it in their own gardens....so no one else would have to endure the stink and mess.

Poo Lane !! I was being polite !! We always used to call it s**t alley when i was a young girl and sadly now all the poo is in the grave yard, which is just awfull for those that go along there and pay their respects to loved ones. Come on folks pick it up
