Emergency crews are tackling a serious fire at a village pub near Stroud in Gloucestershire.

The brigade was called to the Old Fleece on the A46 at Rooksmoor at 1026 GMT on Saturday.

It was feared at first that people were trapped, but a fire and rescue service spokesman said everyone had now been accounted for.

Four fire engines are at the scene. The first floor of the building has been badly damaged

Blimey, I thought you were joking. That part of the road must be jinxed as a few years ago that old building on the otherside of the road went up in flames.

We passed it on the way to Tamworth for our game today and it just starting.

On the way back from our game that sadly we lost. We took a look at it and it looks a right mess. I did not have a camera on me or I would have taken a pic and posted on here.

So I guess a lot of Mums will go without there special dinner tomorrow
