I don't have a picture of this, but it was located near Holcombe Mill, possibly opposite the Weighbridge pub. In medieval times iron ore brought from South Wales by boat and pack-horse was smelted here, as the surrounding woods provided a good source of fuel.

The Mill was indeed located opposite the Weighbridge, and has been recently converted to a private house. It can be located at the top of the drive going down to the new development opposite the Weighbridge, on the right hand side next to the wall overlooking the pond. I am not sure, but I think some of the old workings may still be seen the other side of the wall.
